Bangtan Boys (방탄소년단), is a seven-member South Korean boy band that began formation in 2010 and debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment.  The name became a backronym for Beyond the Scene in July 2017.




They are also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan, Beyond the Scene, Bulletproof Boy Scouts.

The group consists of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.

Park Ji-min (박지민), better known by his stage name Jimin (지민),
is a South Korean singer-song writer and record producer under Big Hit Music. In 2013, he debuted as a member of the South Korean boy band BTS, under the record label Big Hit Entertainment. He is a vocalist and a dancer of BTS. As a solo artist, he has released two self-produced songs: "Promise" in 2018 and "Christmas Love" in 2020.

Under BTS, he has released three solo songs: "Lie", "Serendipity", and "Filter". "Lie" was released in 2016, as part of the group's second Korean studio album, Wings.

It was described as stunning and dramatic, conveying dark undertones and emotions that helped reflect the overall concept of the album. In contrast, "Serendipity", released on the Love Yourself: Her (2017) extended play (EP), was soft and sensual, unraveling the joy, conviction, and curiosity of love.

Kim Seok-jin (김석진), better known by his stage name Jin (진), is a South Korean singer-songwriter under Big Hit Music. He is a vocalist and a visual and member of the South Korean boy band BTS since June 2013. Kim has co-written and released three solo tracks with BTS: "Awake" (2016), "Epiphany" (2018), and "Moon" (2020), all of which have charted on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. As a solo artist, he has released two self-produced songs: "Tonight" in 2019 and "Abyss" in 2020. He also appeared on the 2016 Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth soundtrack alongside BTS member V. Kim has received critical praise for his falsetto and emotional range as a singer.

Min Yoon-gi (민윤기), better known by his stage names SUGA (슈가) and Agust D is a South Korean rapper-songwriter and record producer under Big Hit Music. He is a rapper of BTS in which He deputed in 2013, also he is notable for his large input in songwriting and is the major music producer between the members.

As a solo artist, he has released two mixtapes: Agust D in 2016 and D-2 in 2020. In 2018, Suga was promoted to full member of the Korea Music Copyright Association. 

The Korea Music Copyright Association attributes over 100 songs to Suga as a songwriter and producer, including Suran's "Wine" which peaked at number two on the Gaon Music Chart and won best Soul/R&B track of the year at the 2017 Melon Music Awards.

Jung Ho-seok (정호석), better known by his stage name j-hope (제이홉), is a South Korean rapper-songwriter and record producer under Big Hit Music. He is a rapper and a dancer of BTS (2013), also he is notable for his large input in songwriting and production in the discography in the group.
As a solo artist, he has released first mixtape Hope World in 2018. In 2020, j-hope was promoted to full member of the Korea Music Copyright Association.
On September 27, 2019, he released his song ”Chicken Noodle Soup” featuring Becky G. On October 12, 2019, the solo single debuted at No. 81 on US Billboard Hot 100, which made him the first member of BTS with a Hot 100 hit under his own name.

Kim Nam-joon (김남준), better known by his stage name RM (short for Real Me) (formerly known as Rap Monster (랩몬스터) and Runch Randa), is a South Korean rapper-songwriter and record producer under Big Hit Music. He is the leader and a rapper of BTS, also he is notable for his large input in songwriting and production in the discography in the group.

As a solo artist, he has released two mixtapes: RM in 2015 and Mono in 2018. In 2020, RM was promoted to full member of the Korea Music Copyright Association.
He has recorded with artists such as Wale, Younha, Warren G, Gaeko, Krizz Kaliko, MFBTY, Fall Out Boy, Primary, and Lil Nas X.

Kim Tae-hyung (김태형), better known by his stage name V (뷔), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer and actor under Big Hit Music. He is a vocalist, a dancer and a visual of BTS.

As a solo artist, he has released three self-produced songs: "Scenery", "Winter Bear" and "Sweet Night". He made his acting debut on 2016 with the drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth.

he made his debut as a member of BTS on Mnet's M Countdown with the track "No More Dream" from their debut single album, 2 Cool 4 Skool. He was first credited for music composition in The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1 when he co-wrote and co-produced the song "Hold Me Tight". He also contributed to writing lyrics for the song "Fun Boyz", co-composed by bandmate Suga. For the song "Run", V's melody was used with Jungkook's original lyrics for the next album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 2.

Jeon Jeong-guk (전정국), better known by his stage name Jung Kook (정국), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and record producer under Big Hit Music. He is a vocalist, the center, a dancer, a visual and the maknae of BTS.

As a solo artist, he has released first self-produced song "Still With You" in 2020.Jungkook made his debut as a member of BTS with the release of the single 2 Cool 4 Skool.

Under BTS, he has sung three solo songs; the first, pop track "Begin" from the 2016 album Wings, told his story of moving to Seoul at a young age to become an idol and expresses his gratitude towards his fellow members for taking care of him during that time. The second, a future bass song titled "Euphoria", was released with an accompanying nine-minute short film on April 5, 2018 as the introduction to the third part of BTS' "Love Yourself" series.
