BIRTH & ACCOMPLISHMENT

Born in July 11th 1767 John Quincy Adams was a lawyer, diplomat, diarist,  American statement and sixth president of the United States. He was the eldest son of second President of United States John Adams. His father was diplomat too, and spent most of his youth in Europe. John Quincy Adams studied in Paris, Amsterdam, Leyden and Hague, earning his bachelor's degree from Harvard college in 1787.

FIRST LADY

John Quincy Adams married lewisia Katherine Johnson in London in 1797 on the eve of his departure for Berlin. Louisa Catherine Johnson was the daughter of United State consul joshua Johnson.




HOUSE / RESIDENCE

The John Quincy Adams Birthplace is a historic house at 141 Franklin Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. It is the saltbox home in which the sixth United States President, John Quincy Adams, was born in 1767. The family lived in this home during the time John Adams helped found the United States with his work on the Declaration of Independence and the American Revolutionary War.



SIGNATURE

His letters, almost always written in his unique tiny script exhibit the intellectual qualities of this very land man. Adam's entire pre-presidential career was spent practicing diplomacy and creating well-considered and carefully worded documentation and correspondence, and he never lost the habit of writing is way.

In 1848 a collapse on the floor of the house from a stroke and was carried to the speakers room where two days later On February 23 1848 he died.
